Known as the Zumba "pool party", Aqua Zumba gives new meaning to the idea of an invigorating workout. Splashing, stretching, twisting, even shouting, laughing, hooting and hollering are often heard during an Aqua Zumba class. Integrating the Zumba formula and philosophy with traditional aqua fitness disciplines, Aqua Zumba blends it all together into a safe, challenging, water-based workout that’s cardio-conditioning, body-toning, and most of all, exhilarating beyond belief. This class combines 50 minutes of dancing cardio with 10 minutes of standing Pilates. You will burn up to 700 calories and trim your waist line in this class while having lots of fun!!! At the end of the class you will work out different muscles with elastic straps. This is a beginner’s class that is fun and easy to follow featuring a variety of rhythms from all over Latin America. You will get a taste of everything-Meringue, Salsa, Flamenco, Zamba, Mambo, Reggae, Cumbia, Calypso, Cha Cha, and Belly Dancing. Come tone and sculpt your entire body and have fun doing it!!!

Circuit training alternates strength training exercises with aerobic activities to give you two workouts in one. Circuit training boot camps combine intervals of cardio drills and muscle conditioning exercises to provide you with the ultimate circuit workout. You may use jump ropes, boxing drills, free weights, resistance bands, and even a little healthy competition. Expect the unexpected in these full body circuit boot camp classes which are packed with variety and tons of fun AND burn 600-800 calories in each class.

This class will strengthen the muscles that support the spine (the neck/abs/hips and thighs) to bring balance into the body. This class will also help realign the spine in order to decrease tension, increase flexibility, and strengthen the body from the inside out.

For an evening of fun and fitness come join us as we work toward feeling and looking better by moving to the beat of unique dances like the Hawaiian Hula, learning modern dance steps and jazz routines, and, yes, even shuffling off the buffalo with some invigorating tap dance steps. If you don't have tap shoes, its o.k.; but please wear something comfortable with a non-slip bottom. Also, loose clothing and a workout mat or towel for relaxation techniques and floor work is recommended. Any other props used during this diverse survey course will be provided for you. At the conclusion of our time together, it is hoped that you will feel ready and refreshed with a new perspective to meet the many challenges that are part of our daily lives!

There’s almost nothing like the experience of bonding with a big animal as you learn the basics (comfort, communication, control and confidence). In this class you will ride in a safe, educational, and fun environment, both indoors and out. You’ll learn horse grooming, tacking up (getting your horse ready to ride), the skills of good ridership, and how to walk, trot, post and canter. Horse, rider, and barn safety are emphasized, as well as lots of riding time. Please wear comfortable long pants (jeans are fine), low-heeled shoes (sneakers are not recommended), and bring water to drink. Certified riding helmets will be provided. The Boston Equestrian Center offers rides to riders who complete this class and can canter smoothly. The Boston Equestrian Center, is located at 44 McIntyre Road, North Oxford, MA.

On-the water and classroom instruction. Instruction will be provided by the finest small boat instructors in the state. All participants will be required to sign a form certifying that they are capable swimmers. Please wear rubber-soled sneakers/athletic shoes and appropriate attire.
